The ISS Group was founded in Denmark in 1901, firstly as a security company and shortly thereafter commenced to provide cleaning services there and commenced operations throughout the Nordic countries. As ISS have a significant mobile workforce, working in both the cleaning and security sectors, being able to deliver a definitive point of presence and real-time reporting was essential. ISS wanted to move their field business from paper to the cloud and also deliver innovation and differentiation to their own customers. ISS wanted a more productive, collaborative and efficient way of working together.
Working together, ISS and Arantico Software Solutions, developed a bespoke line of business applications, on the Windows platform to help ISS move their field business into the cloud. Using the Arantico app on their Microsoft Lumia devices, ISS can now provide a true point of presence, in real-time to their customers. This has enabled ISS to realize the productivity benefits but also to innovate far beyond their initial expectations
Ease of deployment and adoption was key to the process. As the Arantico application was built on the Windows platform, users found it easy to use and were already familiar with the operating system. The Arantico application deployed on Microsoft Lumia devices has enabled ISS to become a truly transformational business moving to a paperless operation in the field. Beyond this, the solution has delivered immense productivity and cost efficiencies to both ISS and their customers. In the past, the collation and delivery of reporting could take a number of days but now this is done on a daily basis in under an hour. The solution provides updates and insights in real-time from all sites across the entire team.
